Meet Isabella Bree!! At 5 days young, she was such a sweet little dream to photograph!
Such a pretty baby like mama
I honestly cannot believe that my baby boy is turning 1 tomorrow! This past year has been so cRazYbusy that somehow, it just slipped right through my finger tips! We celebrated his big milestone birthday just yesterday and once again, we had Linsey from Lux Events & Designs help us bring our theme to life (Yup! She’s now planned three 1st birthdays for us!) . Seriously, she is AMAZING you guys. Running around with 3 small kids, I just don’t have time to craft, DIY, let alone think about all the little details that come with planning a birthday party anymore!
Being that “Apollo” is a part of Miles’ name, we wanted to incorporate some sort of space theme. And since, the girls had Disneyland themes to their 1st birthdays, we knew that TOMORROWLAND would be perfect! Ron was actually all over that one. 😉 And let me just saaay… that this was BEFORE Disney Jr decided to create a new series called, Miles from Tomorrowland ! Seriously! Linsey will attest to that, lol! Our theme revolved more around the retro Tomorrowland area of Disneyland park. So you won’t find any of the Callisto family characters as a part of the decor! 😉
As tradition goes, first up, Miles’ 1st birthday photo shoot with some of his party decor! We actually did this in his bedroom and out of the 3 kids, this was the easiest photo shoot I’ve ever done.
Next up, the details from his actual party
All Photography by yours truly 😉
However, credit definitely due to the following individuals/vendors for their amazing talent:
Linsey from Lux Events and Designs
Angelo from ToonUpz
Cakes & Desserts: Karen from Cake Moments
Cookies from Parker’s Crazy Cookies
Venue: Carbon Canyon Regional Park
Buzz Lightyear (Ryan) from Enchanted Characters
Cinthia of OMG Face Painting
Also to my parents, Uncle Ed & Tita Julie for helping with bringing my food over and my mom for lending her “entertaining” supplies
And last, but most definitely not least, our wonderful family and friends for celebrating with us and making Miles’ 1st birthday so awesome!
There must’ve been something in the water roughly 9 months ago because I have twins to introduce to you again! This time, boys! Izzy and Manny were born in March and mom after they were born. Usually, I like to photograph babies at 5-12 days fresh, but given that Manny & Izzy were born a bit early as well, I knew we could work with it. They tried so hard to stay awake during their photo session, but I had to keep reminding them that we have a sleeping policy. lol. Meet Izzy & Manny at pretty much, a month old !!
Meet precious miracles, Avery and Addison! They are “monoamniotic” twins, (aka mono/mono) which means they shared the same placenta and amniotic sac, but had separate umbilical cords. In fact, just a few months ago a pair of mono/mono twins in Ohio made headlines when they were delivered holding hands! This type of pregnancy is so rare (and requires diligent momma/baby monitoring due to potential complications), that it only occurs in 1% of twin pregnancies! Amazing, right?! I was first contacted by their momma for a NICU session since they already had a planned delivery date at 34 weeks. Due to the visitation policy at their hospital however, we were unable to make it happen.
I was delighted however when I heard back a few weeks later with the request for an in-home newborn session! Prepare for cuteness overload. With two times the baby, it was two times the fun! Here they are, home and healthy at about 24 days new!! Yup!
I can’t say enough about this next series. 1) How gorgeous is mama after having twins just less than a month ago? 2) How adorable are those tangled little toes? and 3) How cute is this image of Avery & Addison looking up at their daddy?
And quite easily, one of my favorite images with big brother!
Remember Marvie’s Maternity Session that was photographed a few weeks back? Well baby Makai has finally made his arrival! At 3 days past his due date, he did not want to leave the comfort of his momma’s womb! Here he is at 7 days new!!
