I can’t believe how fast time is flying.
I meant to write some sort of reflection a lot sooner… when I was 30 weeks and just getting into the last “quarter” (yep… the last 10 weeks) of this pregnancy. Now I’m 38+ weeks and just about a few days to a few weeks away from meeting our 3rd and final baby.
In the beginning, I wanted the whole process to go by fast… the morning sickness that lasted up until my 18th week, the food aversions, constant fatigue, insomnia, discomfort, and the hospitalization for dehydration and antibiotic therapy.
But now, I just want it to slow down a bit (juuust a little bit)… every movement, every kick, and every hiccup. Knowing that this would be the “last time” I’ll be carrying a child has been bittersweet. Despite all my preggo discomforts, I really can’t complain. Cause that’s all they are—discomforts. It could’ve been a lot worst. I’ve been fortunate enough to not experience any sciatic nerve pain, low back pain or swelling.
In the bigger picture, my body has treated me and my babies good. I’ve been blessed to carry a miracle, not once or twice, but three times. And at the end of the day, that’s what really matters…
We wanted to have a lil’ casual fun with documenting the last of the baby bumps! Special thank you to my hubs, Ron for snapping away (even if I had set the settings ;-P)
